Washington Mutual and ESPN launch credit card for sports fans

Washington Mutual has teamed up with US sports programming network ESPN to launch the ESPN Total Access Visa card, an affinity credit card offering rewards for sports fans. |
The card, which is issued exclusively by Washington Mutual, allows sports fans to earn rewards tied to their enthusiasm for sports, and provides unique access to a wide range of sporting events and VIP experiences from ESPN.
According to the two companies, the card gives fans the opportunity to get unprecedented VIP and game-day access, earn and redeem points to attend events such as the ESPY Awards Show and the World Series of Poker, and earn sports merchandise and collectibles. These rewards come in addition to various travel, dining and retail rewards.
Fans making purchases with the ESPN Total Access Visa card will receive five points for every dollar spent on purchases made from ESPN and one point for every dollar spent anywhere else. The card also has competitive rates and no annual fee.
