Macquarie Bank cuts 100 investment banker and adviser jobs

Australia-based financial services firm Macquarie Bank has eliminated nearly 100 investment bankers and advisers, from its offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, according to The Australian.
According to reports, the bank plans to slash up to 1,000 jobs from its global workforce of 13,000 employees in the coming months.
The job losses came mainly from the investment bank and Macquarie Capital divisions. New employees have been reportedly affected by the job cuts.
